We envision a world where people live more soulfully, creating a more connected and joyful society.

Soulira is an app that helps people recover from burnout and have true, lasting well-being.

The “Silent” Struggle

Always on, yet empty

We’re working harder than ever, yet feeling more exhausted.
We’re connected to hundreds online, yet lonelier than ever.
We check every box, meet every deadline — and still lie awake at night.

The Hidden Cost

On the outside, everything looks fine.
But inside, so many of us are running on empty.
We tell ourselves to “just push harder,” even as our energy and spirit quietly erode.

Life wasn’t meant to be this way

Burnout, stress, and disconnection have become so common that we’ve started to call them “normal life.” But deep down, we know they’re not. Life was never meant to feel this heavy, this relentless, this isolating.

The Truth in the Numbers

Behind these numbers are people like us — exhausted, stretched thin, quietly wondering if this is just life now.

What We Really Need

The world keeps selling us:

  • platitudes dressed as positivity,
  • hacks that push us harder without real results,
  • or self-care that feels good in the moment but doesn’t change anything long-term.

What we need isn’t another band-aid that masks the problems— but a wiser, more holistic approach to living and thriving.

The Soulira Way

We need a companion that helps us understand why we’re hurting, offers perspective when we feel stuck, and helps us with the small, steady shifts that truly matter.

The Soulira Vow
“To bring light where there is shadow,
clarity where there is noise,
and compassion where there is ache.”

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Ritika—a former Microsoft product leader, ex-Board Chair for Boundless Brilliance, motivational speaker, and builder of ethical human-centered technology.

A few years ago, I had everything I thought I wanted — a big role in tech,  a lovely family, a full life on paper — and yet, like so many around me, I was exhausted, stretched thin, and felt more disconnected from myself than ever.

Desperate, I searched everywhere for answers.

First, I turned to habit trackers, productivity apps, wellness influencers, “self-care” routines. None of it helped.

Relentless, I immersed myself in Mindfulness, Stoicism, Buddhist and Greek philosophy, and Behavioral Science — learning both philosophy/wisdom and science. I noticed something fascinating: modern science was confirming what ancient traditions had been saying all along. But, even with all that knowledge, I still didn’t feel like myself. I was armed with knowledge, and I knew what I “should” be doing, yet something wasn’t quite “clicking”. In fact, I felt I was drowning in information overload.

Still desperate,  and still relentless – I then built an app for myself with ChatGPT — weaving together everything I had learned. Within weeks, I felt something shift. Within months, I felt like my energy was back and I finally felt like me again!

But, it wasn’t just that, I felt better than before. Something was shifting. I was:

  • A lot less self-critical of myself
  • Not feeling like i was constantly “on” and able to rest and take a break (guilt free)
  • Being more present with my kids, instead of worrying about to-dos.
  • Caring for my body — moving, eating better — and losing 10 lbs without fad “diets”.

And thus, the seed for Soulira was planted. What if we could move beyond the theory of happiness and wisdom — and actually practice it, in small ways, every day?

That’s why I created Soulira: to bring together the best of wisdom and science, and to do it ethically and holistically.

Generative AI marks a turning point: for the first time in history, we can translate timeless wisdom into lived practice — unlocking the potential for human flourishing at scale. This is the future I envision: a world where technology doesn’t pull us apart, but brings us back to ourselves, to each other, and to what matters most.

I hope you will join me in this journey, so that together we can bring more light into this world.
